Bequests and inheritances
You can use your inheritance or make a bequest to continue the fight against leukaemia. Making a donation to a charitable organization in your will is the best way of offering your support in the future and of making a commitment to those who suffer from the disease.
You can help us by bequeathing a fixed sum, property, or by establishing a percentage of your total assets. We are legally exempt from paying inheritance tax on such contributions.
When you write your will, you must indicate what you wish to bequeath to the foundation.
- If you have heirs, you are legally permitted to bequeath part of your assets to the Foundation.
- If you do not have heirs, you may designate the José Carreras Foundation as the sole heir of your assets.
It is extremely important to clearly indicate the full name of the organization (Fundación Internacional Josep Carreras para la Lucha contra la Leucemia) as the beneficiary of the bequest; the address (Muntaner, 383 - 08021 Barcelona) and the NIF (G 58734070).
Your most recent will annul previous versions.
If you are interested in making a bequest or leaving assets to the Foundation in your will, please contact us.
The José Carreras Foundation against Leukaemia belongs to the initiative: Legado solidario
