Chronic myeloproliferative syndrome
Under the bracket of Chronic Myeloproliferative syndrome there are a number of malign diseases that share the same characteristic that bone marrow stem cells (charged with producing all the blood cells) have a defect that causes the uncontrollable production of blood cell lineage.
The Myeloproliferative diseases or syndromes are:
- Chronic myeloid leukaemia (also known as Chronic granulocytic leukaemia or CML)
