It is obvious that Haematological malignancies equally affect both men and women. However, some aspects of the treatment have a special impact on women. In this section we will try to analyze in detail some of these aspects and try to solve the most common doubts. Although our analysis will centre on patients with Haematological malignancies, many of the matters discussed can be applied to patients with other kinds of neoplasias which are also treated with chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
