I WANT PEOPLE TO BE BONE MARROW DONORS
"Hello, my name is Javier and I am 28 years old. A while ago, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) and on the 9th of August 2007 I received a transplant. Three years have passed since then and I am now in full remission and I have checks every six months, you know, to see everything is OK. For now, I am perfect and really keen to live! And everything is thanks to an American donor, to whom I owe my life. I have a lot of plans, but one of the most important ones is to convince people to become bone marrow donors. Being a donor can help to make the dreams of so many patients, who are waiting for a transplant, come true. Cheer up everybody and move forward!
With best wishes".
