Sponsor projects

Your company can sponsor a specific project. In this way, you can support us in the manner best aligned with the objectives of your company.

  • Raising awareness campaigns

Respond to a universal objective that feeds into other projects: raise awareness about leukaemia within society and inform others about the work of the José Carreras Foundation in order to expand our presence and the number of our associates and donors. The campaign is launched every year using a variety of communication channels (such as television, radio, press, and Internet) and a launch event takes place which is attended by José Carreras and attracts considerable attention from the media. The success of the Campaign makes it a key project which allows us to add to the companies who wish to ally their brand with the fight against leukaemia.

  • Research grants

Research is the only way of finding a definitive cure for leukaemia and that is why it is the Foundation's main objective. Your company could become part of this project by sponsoring one of the annually awarded grants or by financing the costs of research units in place throughout a number of hospitals, or other related projects.

  • Patient care

Leukaemia patients and their families are the reason for the effort we direct towards their wellbeing and cure. Because of this, we are always listening to them and caring for them and have made our six apartments available for their use. Your company could partly fund the costs associated with this aspect of our work by financing maintenance, improvements, or the purchase of new equipment.

  • José Carreras International Institute for Leukaemia Research

The institute will be the first centre in Spain, and one of the few in the world, exclusively focussed on carrying out research into malignant blood diseases. It is envisaged that the centre will be up and running by 2012 and it will become a world leader in its field with its campus based in our country. You could help by financing this project which is as ambitious as it is necessary.
