Susana was able to make her plan come true

The same can happen to people who are currently suffering from leukaemia. We must keep on researching so that a cure is found.

"I had always wanted to have my own family. In 1991 I was diagnosed an acute myeloid leukaemia. One year later I had a bone marrow transplant at Hospital Clínic in Barcelona. I am most grateful to the Foundation because you brought me back to my normal life. I am so lucky that, even if I thought that I would never be able to have children due to my chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment, I am currently a proud mother of two."
