Raquel and the José Carreras Foundation celebrate together their 25th anniversary

Raquel is from Jaén and she was diagnosed leukaemia in 1988, the same year the José Carreras Foundation was founded. Today, she is a nurse at the Paediatric Haematology Unit of the Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona and she takes care of many patients for whom our Foundation has found a compatible donor. This 2013, Raquel and Josep Carreras celebrate 25 years of fight, hope and compromise with patients.
