As part of the Week Against Leukemia 2014 (21-28th of June), nearly 300 patients and former patients of leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other haematological diseases joined the campaign The Magic Machine of the José Carreras Foundation along with their families, to ask for society's cooperation for further research.

The challenge of the campaign #lamaquinamagica was to get at least €38,500 through text messages to acquire a cell separator and .... WE GOT IT!

Thanks to Victor, 5-year-old leukaemia patient, actress Paula Echevarría and the collaboration of many caring people, we raised over €55,000 to equip the laboratories of the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute.
