Joan, multiple myeloma former patient
A year and a half ago 64 year old Joan was diagnosed multiple myeloma. Joan explains that "when you receive this news, your world falls apart. You start to ask lots of questions: What is it? What will I do? Will I survive? Your life changes completely".
In October 2008, he underwent a transplant and nowadays he is well, living an almost normal life.
