Maria José
"Hello, my name is Mariajosé and ten years ago I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. I had to go through some very hard cycles of chemotherapy, and I struggled at times. However, everything worked out and later, I received an autologous transplant. Nowadays, I am doing really well, although I still have to go for medical revisions. I am so grateful for my haematologists at the Alcalá de Henares Hospital and the Hospital de la Princesa, where I received my transplant.
Above all, I want to thank my family, who have always been there, supporting me and of course, my husband. I have fought a lot, and finally the disease couldn't defeat me, I won the battle. You should never give up and always maintain lots of strength, courage and spirit. You should stay positive and live and be happy. I feel like I have been reborn and I hope that all those who are currently in a delicate moment overcome their obstacles as quickly as possible. They should keep going with happiness and positivity because it really helps. The most important thing is to never lose your smile.
Warm regards to everyone, and keep going!!"
